Warrant Officer Howe has played a crucial role in the retention and growth of the 10th/27th Battalion, The Royal South Australia Regiment and the 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment.
At the 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment, he was directly responsible for the rapid remediation of manning; allowing the Battalion to deploy operationally at short notice just months after returning from operations in Iraq. Warrant Officer Howe has consistently displayed professional excellence, inspirational leadership and superior initiative and has brought great credit upon himself, The Royal Australian Infantry Corps and the Australian Army.
