Jungle Greens have seen better times.
Because of the intense humidity, moisture, heat and microorganisms your clothes would literally rot off your back.
This photograph is a good example  of what a jungle environment could do to clothing.
On lengthy operations many members of the Battalion were reduced to wearing rags.
