A Battery of the 1st/83rd arrived at Nui Dat in October 1966 To support Australian and New Zealand operations. The battery consisted of the M110 Gun (seen here) and the M107 mm Self-Propelled gun. They gave 1ATF (1st Australian Task Force) invaluable support, particularly 'in depth' well beyond the limits of the 105 mm batteries.
