Captain Perriman demonstrated superior levels of courage, initiative and leadership in action against the enemy. His calm and determined example to his soldiers in stressful combat situations on several occasions ensured his team defeated the enemy and evacuated severely injured comrades.
Captain Perriman consistently provided strong leadership and outstanding reassurance to those he commanded, enabling their excellent achievements.
